Amanda joined the ZONE Sports Physiotherapy team in 2013, after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy. Amanda grew up in Calgary, and was involved in a variety of sports at the local and provincial level, before moving to Saskatoon for her post-secondary education. Prior to completing her Masters in Physical Therapy, she obtained her Kinesiology degree from the University of Saskatchewan, graduating with Great Distinction in 2011. Since graduating she has completed her Diploma of Manipulative Physical Therapy, Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) certification, Certified Strength & Conditioning certification, and is working towards her Bradcliff Breathing Method certification to expand her assessment and treatment approach. She remains actively involved in continuing education and serves as a physiotherapy mentor through the University of Saskatchewan and the SWITCH clinic. Amanda has a special interest in integrating strength and conditioning concepts in rehabilitation and providing a well-rounded treatment approach to aid clients in achieving their goals. Outside of work Amanda has a love for travelling, adventurous food, and reading, and stays active through strength training, yoga, and chasing her cats around.
