TED TILBURY Ted is one of ZONE Sports Physiotherapy's founding partners. Ted has been in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy private practice since graduating from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 1990. He has further developed his interest and expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, obtaining his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy (Sport Physiotherapy Canada), as well as his Diploma of Advanced Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy. Ted is a practitioner of Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), and Functional Movement Screen certified. He also works as a bracing, pre-operative and post-operative consultant in the Saskatoon Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center. Ted has worked as the sport physiotherapy consultant with many local, provincial and national level teams and athletes, including many Junior and minor hockey players, as well as travelling nationally and internationally with the Canadian National Men's Soccer Program (CSA) for more than a decade. Ted was also a member of the medical staff at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games (Whistler Venue). Ted’s special interest and expertise in golf has lead to certification with the Titleist Performance Institute, the world leader in golf fitness, health and technical support and development. |
MITCH DAHL Mitch is one of the founding partners of ZONE Sports Physiotherapy. Mitch has been in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy private practice in Saskatoon since graduating with Great Distinction from the University Of Saskatchewan School Of Physical Therapy in 1994. He has further developed his expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, obtaining his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy in 2004 (Sport Physiotherapy Canada). He also works as a pre-operative and post-operative consultant in the Saskatoon Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center. In addition to regularly working with local minor baseball and hockey teams, his sports physiotherapy experience includes the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games (Cypress Mountain Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard Venue), the Canada Summer Games, traveling with Athletics Canada track & field teams to Madagascar and Ireland as team physiotherapist, eight years as the Saskatoon Hilltops Football Club team physiotherapist, and extensive clinical practice and consultation work with local teams, and a variety of local, provincial and national caliber athletes. Since 2000 Mitch has been one of the education resource/coordinators and guest speakers in conjunction with Brainsport: The Running Store. Mitch has a special interest in youth sport, both as a coach, and as a sport physiotherapist, striving to educate young athletes and parents regarding injury prevention, proper training and long term athlete development. His special interest in baseball has taken him to conferences in Las Vegas and Houston to address current concepts in injury management and prevention alongside Major League Baseball team surgeons, physicians, therapists and trainers. In 2012, Mitch became only one of three Canadians certified with the National Pitching Association, an organization dedicated to comprehensive throwing health and performance, based in Los Angeles, CA. Mitch lives on an acreage just outside Saskatoon, with his wife and three children. When not at the clinic or at home, he can usually be found at a local ball diamond or hockey rink. |
BRAD SPOKES Brad is one of the primary physiotherapy partners in ZONE Sports Physiotherapy. Brad has been involved in private practice orthopedic physiotherapy in Saskatoon since graduating with Distinction from the University Of Saskatchewan School Of Physical Therapy in 2004. He has further developed his expertise in orthopedic and rehabilitation by obtaining his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and CAFCI (Canadian Acupuncturist). He is also Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified. In 2007 he began serving as a pre-operative and post-operative consultant for the Saskatoon Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center. In the fall of 2010 Brad was contracted as a physiotherapy consultant working in the Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute in Kuwait for a 3 month period. Over the past 7 years Brad has specialized his practice to become a leader in the management and treatment of running injuries within Saskatoon. This extensive interest in running injury management has lead to the exciting and recent development of a partnership between ZONE Sports Physiotherapy with the Running Injury Clinic from the University of Calgary. This partnership will see the introduction of 3d gait analysis to the province of Saskatchewan to further cement ZONE Sports Physiotherapy as an industry leader in running injury management. At the community level Brad has served both as a coach and as the educational co-ordinator for the Brainsport Running Clinics. From 2005-2009 he served both as an assistant coach and as the Men’s head coach for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies XC program. Outside of work hours Brad has competed locally, nationally and internationally in the sport of triathlon, as a two time member of the Canadian Age Group triathlon team. |

Justin joined ZONE Sports Physiotherapy in the spring of 2011. Justin has been involved in private practice orthopedic physiotherapy in Saskatoon since graduating with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 2008. He has demonstrated his expertise in orthopedics and rehabilitation by obtaining his Diploma of Spinal Manipulation through the Canadian Orthopedic Division in 2011. Justin has played competitive golf at local, provincial and national levels and has since developed a keen interest in working with both competitive and recreational players. In addition, he has interest in the strength and conditioning aspects of health and fitness. |

Isobel joined the Zone Sports Physiotherapy team in the winter of 2011. She has been in private practice in Saskatoon since her convocation from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 2008. Immediately after her graduation, Isobel had the opportunity to work alongside a physiotherapist in Mozambique, Africa for six weeks; this exceptional experience has made a long-lasting impression on her. Isobel is keen on continuing her education, and pursues a number of different education avenues, including courses from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division, Functional MovementScreen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), as well as a number of other courses. Isobel enjoys playing soccer and ultimate frisbee, and spent a number of years coaching youth soccer at various levels in Saskatoon. Isobel enjoys supporting her clients in acheiving their personal health, fitness, and athletic goals. |

Lauren is a British Columbia native who joined the Zone team in the spring of 2012. She has been involved in private practice orthopedic physiotherapy in Saskatoon since her convocation, with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2009. Prior to this Lauren completed an undergraduate degree, graduating with honors and great distinction from the college of kinesiology in 2007. Since graduating she has continued her post-graduate education by actively pursuing her fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. In previous years Lauren has occupied a sports medicine team role with the U of S Huskies Women’s Basketball Team and Saskatchewan Provincial Lacrosse Teams as well as worked as a personal trainer in multiple settings. Lauren grew up heavily involved in fast pitch, soccer, basketball, track and field and cross-country running having competed at both local and provincial levels. Currently in her spare time she is continuing to expand her athletic horizons by taking a keen interest in snowboarding, weight lifting, yoga, hiking and golf. |

Her organizational expertise ensures each client’s rehabilitation or training experience at ZONE is an efficient and effective experience, while her welcoming personality puts a smile on the face of clients and staff alike. While managing to keep the ZONE crew well organized, she is also an enthusiastic parent volunteer and fan of her family’s sports teams and events. |
